I'm Intangible Objects, AKA Lydia Hignett; a scouse illustrator, maker, painter, and overall creative person who has a passion for all things funky, mainly music, even more specifically, Hip Hop. I grew up surrounded by both art and hip hop, with my love for being creative coming from my mum, and my taste in music being influenced by my Dad as a massive fan of music himself. Liverpool being a massive hot spot for arts and culture tied hand in hand with my love for music and art, helping me grow into the artist i am today.
I am largely defined by my work in digital illustration and creation of charmingly lumpy and joyfully wonky characters. My unconventional creative outlook fuels perspective bending imagery which resonates with audiences by tapping into an urban yet nostalgic quality. My work is expressive in its exaggerated proportions and immersive, borderline cinematic angles, as well as being heavily saturated with Hip-Hop culture, deeply influencing and infusing my illustrations with soulful character and the unapologetic visual attitude of street art.
